Nollywood political drama, First Lady, opens in cinemas across Nigeria and Ghana today, October 16, 2026.
Directed by Yinka Akanbi and written, produced, and directed by Fehintola Olulana, the film is distributed by Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution.
The story centres around Adunola, the First Lady of Lagos State. She has status, influence and every comfort her position can offer, but not the one thing she wants most: a child. When she becomes pregnant, the circumstances threaten her marriage and public image.
Olulana stars alongside Desmond Elliot, Ibrahim Suleiman, Jaiye Kuti, Biola Segun-Williams, Kemi Iyanda and Ngozi Nwosu.
