Suss Productions has released the trailer for East West Love, a Nigerian-Kenyan romance opening in Nigerian cinemas on October 9.
The trailer opens along the Kenyan coast, where friends enjoy a boat cruise as a voiceover describes holidays as meant for fun, adventure and lasting memories.
Tito (Sunshine Roseman) heads to Mombasa after discovering that her boyfriend Chude (Efe Iwara) has cheated on her. There, she meets Juma (Brian Abajah), whose teasing response to condoms spilling from her bag sets up their flirtation. The trailer follows their growing connection against Kenya’s coastal scenery.
The film brings together a Nigerian-Kenyan cast and crew, with both countries providing settings for the story.
Produced by Folashayo Oke Sobo and Dolapo “LowlaDee” Adeleke, East West Love is directed by Tanzanian filmmaker Seko Shamte. Folashayo Oke Sobo and Sonia Nwosu wrote the screenplay, based on a story by Abiola Sobo.
The film premiered in May 2026 as the opening film of the 13th edition of the NollywoodWeek Film Festival in Paris. Its distribution partners are Nile Entertainment, Okada Media and Snag Exclamation
